The bathroom was a dream come true! One of them had a bath or shower, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. As a lover of bubble baths, this was heaven for me!
Personally, I preferred the bathroom with just a shower. But hey, that's just me.

The location was perfect for us as it was near a beautiful fishing spot where we spent quality time together, enjoying the tranquility and nature. The house itself had a lovely lounge area where we shared many memorable moments. The welcome treat of wine and chocolates was a delightful touch that made us feel truly special.
My wife says that the toilets being in cupboards without a hand basin was a shame.

The hotel was beautifully decorated with charming and traditional furnishings, reminiscent of a cozy English home. The general areas, such as the lounge, were welcoming and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. As a senior woman, I really appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The staff had clearly considered the needs of older guests, with wide hallways and clear paths throughout the building, making it easy to navigate with mobility aids.
One thing that could have made the vacation even better for senior people like me would be if the toilets had sliding doors. It would have provided more privacy and made it easier for those with limited mobility to navigate the small spaces.

Quirky Garden Hideaway: Our stay at this centrally located holiday home was a delightful escape from the ordinary. The garden was a hidden gem, offering a tranquil retreat amidst the bustling city. It felt like stumbling upon a secret oasis, where we could relax and unwind, sipping tea and pretending to be characters in a Shakespearean play.
Mattress Quality: Despite the overall positive experience, the beds left much to be desired. With mattresses resembling ancient torture devices, a good night's sleep was elusive.

The house was warm, welcoming, and exceptionally well-provided with kitchen and tableware. It had everything we needed for our romantic escape, including a generous welcome pack with wine, chocolates, biscuits, milk. We especially enjoyed the beautiful garden and the comfortable beds. The location was also a major plus, with a peaceful setting just a short walk away from the main shopping streets and historic features.
The house could do with a spruce up as it felt a bit dated. Additionally, the lack of a sink in both toilets was a minor inconvenience, requiring us to wash our hands in either the kitchen sink or the bathroom.

5 Albany Road in Stratford-upon-Avon is a fantastic spot to enjoy some of the best fishing in the area. We had an amazing time casting our lines and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The house itself was beautiful, with spacious rooms and all the amenities we needed. We felt right at home, especially with the lovely welcome card and gifts from Stephen and Jean. The Christmas decorations added an extra touch of magic to our stay, making it truly unforgettable.
For dads, it would be great if there were some outdoor toys or activities available for the children.
